Introduction The dream is rooted the American independence declaration. It was founded by the American founding fathers. The American Dream is based on equality among all the American citizens since it is believed that all men are equal (Adams 13). Paragraph two The issue cover in paragraph two is education inequality. It is used to show the American Dream is dead. The implemented source it the one written by Hansen (2012). The information of the source is reliable as it contains arguments which show that the American Dream is dead such as inequality in education as the dream was for equality in all aspects of life in America.

Paragraph three Effects of laziness among the American as well as debt disparity effect to American Dream will be explored in this paragraph.   The source is used because it gives some of the factors meant to show the American Dream is alive. Paragraph eight It is the conclusion paragraph and it gives the stand of the topic of ‘if the American Dream is dead or a life?’ based on the arguments presented in the other paragraphs. The American Dream of equality among all the American as well as having children living a more desirable life as compared to that of their parents is never in existence as it died a long time ago. Schools from areas of the high social class have well-equipped schools and are served by high competent teachers(Johnson 23). On the contrary, schools from areas of the low social class which are understaffed and have lacked the necessary learning facilities and are also served by incompetent teachers despite the fact that the American Dream advocating for equity is all aspects of life in America. The disparity is quality of education affirms that the American Dream is dead. Realization of the American Dream is not by chance as it demands handwork. However, laziness among the American is slowly killing the dream (Putnam 11). Unlike in the past where even middle-class Americans were working until their retirement and retire while financially secure, currently, wages are meager to the extent that employee cannot save to secure their retirement (Putnam 25).

As a result of this, poverty levels have increased which is in contrary to the American Dream. Without retirement saving, there is no assurance of comfort life. The rise is the expense with stagnant wages has made the majority of the Americans to get buried in serious debts instead of saving money for their retirement (Putnam 27). This has made more than 20% of the Americans approaching their retirement to have no retirement. The American Dream can be considered alive because some Americans can own their own homes and they are as well having a better life compared to that of their parents (Hansen 129). Currently, children are earning a higher income than their parents. More than 84% of Americans are nowadays earning more than their parent’s income. Moreover, since 1990, the rate of school dropout in America has significant decreased (Hansen 134).
