The organization has been termed as one of the greatest terrorist group with previous global and regional attacks being credited to them. 1 Additionally, it becomes hard to limit and interrupt the organization’s source of funds as most of its income comes from taxing individuals residing on ISIS territory as well as the sale of goods to neighboring countries as private citizens from surrounding where the organization is in control of. ISIS is not the most organized terrorist group. However, the organization is able to surround itself with smart individuals to advance their skills. This has enable it to actively recruit through social media and the dark web thereby increasing the number of its foot soldiers. LOCATION, SCOPE AND MAGNITUDE ISIS is a great threat to the United States as well as the world at large with recent attacks, assault, and ambitions to expand its territories. The organization is a threat to the security of a nation as well as its citizens. According to research by the CIA, ISIS has constantly attacked America as well as other territories like the memorable attack in Paris in 2015.

16 The threat can only be speculated to increase due to the vast number of new recruits all over the world receiving specialized training using weapons and explosives threatening the security of individuals living in the United States. Recently, the group has also held hostage citizens from America with interventions resulting in conflict. More fundamentally, illegal immigration laws must be adhered to at all time as well as strict travel policies formulated and implemented. Additionally, there should be travel ban to countries where ISIS has territories as well provide comprehensive biometrics. Secondly, there should be the creation of fusion centers that ensure timely information gets to the intended audience. Lastly, the United States should develop strict rules to persecute individuals collaborating or financing these terrorist groups.
