The legalization process would have considered the social impact of this substance not only considering the age limit, children for instance can easily get access to cannabis because they live with adults who use it and since there are no restriction to the consumption they will not bother letting the children have a taste of it which could later affect their health and brain function. Conclusion In Conclusion, the legalization of cannabis in Alberta from my point of view has negative impacts to it population health. Considering that Alberta is a developing economy, introducing cannabis will not improve the economy but instead slow down the economy growth.
