All the components play significant roles. An interview helps determine the current problem and personal history. Tests of significance to clinical assessments are tests of intelligence and neuropsychological functioning such as tests on memory, executive function, reasoning, attention and many more. Brief face valid symptom measures, pure personality measures and omnibus measures (Ryder et al. The particular measure picked depends on the question to be answered, time and financial costs. Clinical psychology has long preferred dimensions of evidenced-based symptoms. Some assessments include analysis of the genes and hormones, analyzing the functions of the brain and its anatomy. Also, examining memory, attention, personality, emotional reactivity, and interpersonal functioning has proven useful (Springer, 1997). The mutual integration of the culture, body, and mind, emphasizes that none can operate without the rest.

There is need to differentiate between cultural group and culture, as this would enable individuals to partly stick to or reject culture itself. Clearly, studies thus indicate that it is impossible to understand the human mind expect while in cultural context. Results indicate a variance in perception in different clients. Depending on cultural indifference, different clients exhibited either somatic or psychological symptoms. Studies indicate that Chinese patients with mental illness showed somatic symptoms. On the contrary, the Euro-Canadian group reported psychological symptoms. As much as a therapist might have been trained in a given theoretical orientation, they can always incorporate other methods into their initial training. Eclectic psychotherapy works differently with different patients, a clinician may choose to use behavior modification as an approach to a symptom and a psychoanalytic approach for the subsequent symptom.

Also, an eclectic psychotherapist would apply different modes in different patients. Technical Eclectic psychotherapy ignores the theoretical background of the applied techniques while aiming at applying the multiple techniques (Lazarus, 1993). The therapist uses a number of techniques basing on what is of perceived help to the client. According to the integrative theory, each collection of psychotherapy should be able to incorporate in an organized way view out of diverse schools. Most therapists would prefer one foundational theory as they attempt to begin to explore for options for integration. Designs of incorporative integration are grounded on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) alongside psychodynamic establishment. Theoretical integration involves the incorporation of two or more theories with belief that the actual anticipated outcomes would be greater than the component therapies exclusively (Springer, 1997).

Other systems of hypothetical integration aim at synthesizing alongside combining a minimum quantity of theories at an intensive degree, unlike some that illustrate the connection between various models of psychotherapy. The individual trend has its own impact which differs from the rest. Each trend has its own advantages and disadvantages. The first trend has the advantage of bringing together both technical and relational aspects, the technical aspect applies treatments that are empirically supported, and conclusions are made through intensive experiments (Norcross, 1992). The disadvantages are that it is concerned with the treatment variables within the process of therapy. The second trend has the advantage of merged theoretical orientations. Integrative psychotherapy enables a suitable adjustment of each therapy to particular features and desires of individual patients enabling psychotherapist to apply their information and skills based on evidenced-based solutions and methods (Zarbo, 2016).

Another one is to focus on being integrative and not eclectic. Prevention The overall prevention plan applied by therapists are discussed below, normally, they are applied at the meso, so, and micro level. Generally, preventive interventions that are successful are driven by theory, relevance to culture, and suitability in development and applicable across multiple contexts (American Psychological Association, 2014). The preventive interventions aimed at improving the overall mental health of individuals, communities, and nations at large. The significance of hazard obstruction is constantly in line with various acts that emphasizes on increasing risk obstruction services to advance optimum health results (American Psychological Association, 2014). The National preventive strategy of U. S. A also provides an opportunity to focus on wellness and prevention of illness.
