While the few convenience food options in Tala city does provide food for the day shift workers, it does not offer late night foods for the night shift workers or those who work late into the night due to busy schedules. By bearing in mind that is a growing industrial hub, the town has attracted more offices and businesses which mostly work into the late night on shifts.

Additionally, the town hosts seminars and conferences but the few restaurants available strain to meet the demand by these people or they do not serve them because most conference halls are located off town whereas the restaurants are located within the city. In this regard, Goodnight’s idea revolutionized the concept of mobile foods by creating a more reliable vehicle that delivered food supplies within the city and arguably, served a more tasty food to consumers. As Weber (2012) says, food trucks are simply large trucks that are equipped with necessary cooking gadgets for cooking and selling of foods from any location. II. Health standards In essence, a food truck is a restaurant on the go, and it is regulated the same way restaurants are controlled to ensure that they meet the required foods, drinks, and drugs standards in the city in which they operate (Williams, 2012). In this case, the researcher will register with the health and nutrition boards in Ontario to get permission to run a food truck in Tala. Competitive advantage Several factors count towards the success of the proposed food truck business. For instance, the fact that the company will have the ability to determine where to sell foods and drinks from time to time will give the industry leverage to make more sales compared to other competitors. For the proposed food trucking business, the researcher is set to tow along this part to become experts in handling the fast expanding food trucking businesses in Ontario City. Another competitive advantage the company will have is the size and condition of the food truck with the ability to move to areas where there is demand. The business will be committed to cook best quality foods and of adequate quantity that matches the prices charged. From the researcher’s market analysis, the business will pay back reasonable profits by selling at a relatively lower price than the one charged in the industry. V. Customers will pay through cash, online bank transfer, point of sale machine, and mobile money payment. However, the study raises important questions concerning the prevailing views on socio-economic and class divide regarding consumption of foods from mobile food trucks. As the popularity of food trucks is gaining attention, studies indicate that several restaurants, universities and other food stores have turned to running their own food carts which they use to supply food to their clients (Williams, 2012). Concerning colleges, in the University of Alabama, Brothers Street Eats ran their business outside the University, but in April 2014, the university ejected Brothers Street Eats to establish their own food trucks. According to the college’s vice president, the school had only invited investors for a limited trial period in which after expiry, they had to eject them to establish their own premise.

Williams (2012) says that there has been an increase in demand varsities run-food trucks, nightclubs, and bars or in trendy young adult neighborhoods over the past one decade especially those that offer late-night services and located close to varsities. Additionally, the restaurants in the city have not specialized in delivering food to the consumers especially to the conference halls which are located in the outskirts of the Central Business District of the city. On the Move Food Truck Business has identified the target market for the food products to be working staff and event attendants.
