S. -Israel Relationship Introduction Strategic, moral, and political aspects have contributed to the emergence and robustness of the U. S. -Israel relationship. Ideally, it has taken decades for America to enhance support for Israel from a moral stance to a strategic asset and a country that adopts strategic cooperation policies. As a measure of a strategic relationship, the two countries have greatly benefited in the realms of homeland security, cyber security, counterterrorism, and defense technology. The U. S. -Israel Strategic Military Cooperation The latest memorandum of understanding (MoU) will provide Israel with $3. 9 billion each year for military aid. The real value of this agreement relates to defense technology that the country will receive. Similarly, America has benefited from different tactics and weapon systems. The Congress and distinct U. S. presidents have amplified the commitment to enhance the Qualitative Military Edge. In most instances, both militaries operate in similar climatic and physical circumstances. The exchange between the two countries is based on information gathering resources, especially in the Middle East. As perceived by distinct American governments, there is a need to protect the countries interests by promoting the governing system of Israel. Currently, Israel is an essential part and ally to the U. S. Notably, the relationship is based on enhancing regional peace and security in both countries. Being a global power, the U. S. The U. S. -Israel relationship is strategic since it makes provision for minimizing the future challenges facing the countries. In spite of the alliance being one sided, both states have significant benefits and gains. Ranging from political, social, and economic, the strong bond has enhanced the countries’ capability to address future shortcomings. S. has consistently gained from the alliance through economic and military benefits. Since Israel independence, America’s presidents and leaders have focused on promoting a better bond as the state tries to pursue its interests within the diverse Middle East region. The strong alliance has laid the foundation for both countries to introduce economic and policy reforms. The principle behind the association is based on the shared interests and challenges affecting the countries.
