The best car for moms on a budget
The main problem in buying a car lies in the decision making process and that is the reason why many moms may end up regretting their choice of car later. Hatchbacks are known to be the best cars for moms due to the availability of ample space, although, there are so many types of hatchbacks which differ in certain characteristics such as fuel consumption, price, engine capacity and the brand. Body There are different types of hatchback cars that moms prefer to sedans. Some of the make that manufacture hatch back cars include Mercedes Benz, Ford Falcon, Suzuki, Honda Fit, Holden Astra, Kia Sportage, Hyundai i30, Mazda CX-5, Subaru XV, Kia Carnival, Acura TSX Sport Wagon, Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon, Hyundai Elantra Touring, Scion Xb, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Prius, Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen and Toyota Camry.
However, each type of these hatchback cars has some unique features that may be attractive to one person but may not be attractive to another. Majority of hatchbacks have programmable headlights as well as a speed buzzer to enable the drivers to adjust the light to the brightness or colour that may not hinder their sight on the road (Kolhe et al. Such a feature is important because it ensures that the moms have a clear vision as they drive at night. It is also worth to consider the fact that driving at night is unavoidable in some circumstances and therefore the lights ought to be on point to enable the driver to see clearly. Adjustable steering column: the steering column in most of the hatchback cars is adjustable, thus making them fit for moms of all sizes.
The steering column can be stretched or compressed to the desired size. Unique Features Emergency brake flashers: hatchback has the best emergency brake flashers that help the driver in case he or she notices danger from a close range. Some the drivers may sink deep in their thoughts and fail to notice danger from afar and that is the moment the emergency brake flashers become useful to the driver. Despite the fact other vehicles may have emergency brakes, hatchbacks are the best as compared to sedan. Rear seat-back metals: hatchbacks have metal plates fixed at the back of the rear seats to prevent luggage intrusion in case the car is involved in an accident. Intrusion of the luggage may have adverse effect on the passengers in the rear seats, thus, injury them.
In case the mom is travelling long distances and the journey needs all sorts of things, the spaces under the rear seat can be used to store the things that cannot be affected by unnecessary movements of the passengers (Yuan et al. Moreover, such spaces are economical because it is unnecessary to hire more vehicles to carry the extra luggage that may be essential when going for a holiday or on any other journey. Automatic climate controls: although not all hatchback vehicles have an automatic climate control, most of them have. This is the other advantage of hatchback car over sedan because moms need to regulate the climate to suit their children’s health. Kids have a tendency of suffering from frequent fever and thus any slight unfavourable climatic condition may lead to certain types of illnesses on the children.
Although some moms may have a liking for sedan cars, they do not have enough space to accommodate many things as they travel in comparison to the hatchbacks. Additionally, hatchbacks are convenient because the rear space enables people to keep stuff without any struggle. Body style with five doors: the other advantage of hatchbacks over sedans is that they have five doors while the sedans have four. The fifth door enables people to put things in the rear space easily without necessarily having to struggle so much. Also, the body shapes between the two vehicles differ in the sense that hatchbacks are large than sedans in size. Since mothers like going for outings, holidays and adventures with their kids or the entire family, hatchback is the best car for such activities due to its unique features.
