This essay argues that all human being should choose their words carefully to avoid hurting others and instilling negativity in the minds of growing children. The use of profane words, and curse words should be prohibited since they appear offensive especially when used in a political and in a situation of ethnic difference, and could also portray disrespect towards gender, and traumatize children emotionally. The sensitive political atmosphere we live in has resulted in the development of various words and phrases that could be considered offensive, particularly when those are used to address certain groups of individuals. This means that individuals need to be cautious and careful about their uses of language. They must avoid using words and phrases that may make their opponents feel offended (Hayes par.
