But some people live a good life and use their life to create a lot of value for future generations. So even if they die, they will endure forever. Likewise, it is essential for us to have a good life and to create value for our society with only a lifetime. Therefore, People must focus on a balanced diet, sleep condition, and have a meaningful job in order to get on the way to a worthwhile life. Sleep is essential if one needs a good life, so people can't live without it. Some Chinese students compress their sleep time in order to have more time to study, but this behaviour is very harmful to the body it can even be termed as chronic suicide. Adults should ensure at least 7 hours of sleep every day.

It is particularly important to have a high quality of sleep within a limited period. First of all, moderate exercise can improve sleep by alleviating the tension accumulated during the day and relaxing the body and mind. Secondly, it is always good to keep mobile phones and other mobile devices away from us so that we can be able to get into sleep easily without any form of disturbance. It is therefore important to take our time when we want to choose the type and quantity of food to match the diet. For example, fatty meat is the main ingredient in fat and cholesterol, which is a good energy supply for people with insufficient energy, but it is a bad choice for people with excess energy. Therefore, a balanced diet must be made up of varieties of food, which means the variety and quantity of nutrients from food should be able to meet the needs of the human body and not in excess so that the proportion of energy provided by protein, fat, and carbohydrates is suitable.

Keeping a balanced diet starts from eating more fruits and vegetables. Fat and cholesterol in meat can easily lead to obesity and cardiovascular diseases. So what kind of work is a meaningful job? First of all, I think that meaningful work carries our ideals and aspirations, sets up a platform for us to fully display our talents and reflect our unique values. However, Dr Mrim Boutla, a neuroscience PhD thinks, “I coach define "meaningful work" as work that serves a population or cause that is dear to their heart” (Boutla). It seems that my initial thought is too narrow. I define meaning as being limited to the meaning of oneself. But is it meaningful for me to be happy alone? No, if I live in a society where everyone is worried and sad.

In fact, the overall takeaway that Waldinger stresses is the importance of good relationships and how they keep us happier and healthier. The three big lessons to grasp from this particular Ted Talk are that social connections are really good for us and loneliness kills, it’s not just the number of friends or whether or not you’re in a committed relationship it’s the quality of your close relationships that matter and lastly Good relationships protect and are better for our brains. These statements are backed up by Waldinger with findings from the study that show how people in meaningful relationships are likely to live longer, be happier, have improved memory and are healthier overall. In some ways, there is an implication that good close relationships seem to buffer us from some of the slings and arrows or getting old.
