Getting the attention of the audience: statistics about some of the cases of unfairness and bias in the workplace. It is clear that in many organizations, employees go through discrimination based on their ethnic groups. Statistics show that in each three companies, emloyees in one of the companies go through such forms of bias and discrimination. Credibility of the topic: being an employee and having worked with several companies, am in apposition to understand how regularly the acts of unfairness and bias are common in some of the firms that some people work in. • How organizations are affected by discrimination and unfairness to their employees a) The company can even be sued by the employees since there are laws that protect employees against any form of discrimination in the workplace b) The productivity of the employees reduces due to lack of equality of teir employees and some of the employees also feel underrated thus demotivating them. c) Employees may decide to leave the job and search for fairness elsewhere thus making the company to lose quality employees. • Impact of religious bias in the workplace a) Lack of fairness due to religious difference of the employees. There are law that have been formed so as to ensure that all the employees are treated fairly no matter cases of difference in their religion backgrounds.

Organization should ensure that the criteria that is used in the process of promoting the employees is based on their qualifications but not on their personal relations or backgrounds as this may make the performance of the organization poor. No equality in the way that the employer treats the employees leading to division of the employees. Some employees feel special than the others which make some of the employees to feel underrated and their commitment to the company reduces. Discrimination and unfairness also affect employees in the following ways. The company can even be sued by the employees since there are laws that protect employees against any form of discrimination in the workplace. The productivity of the employees reduces due to lack of equality of their employees and some of the employees also feel underrated thus demotivating them. Reporters of cases of discrimination and unfairness should be also protected from being intimidated afterwards due to their acts. Provision of reasonable accommodation to employees with disabilities so as to protect them against discrimination from the employers.
