In general, there is great discrimination that occurs between women and men. Women face barriers in every manner of work. Empowerment is done for a woman if she is capable of generating economic, social and political benefit to society as well as making decisions that influence not only her life but also the life of the society at large. A woman requires access and economic resources such as income and assets to be equal as well as a favorable environment that foster and give her support. Having such an enabling environment, a woman can display their abilities and utilize them for the benefit of her state. Therefore their earnings are fewer as well as opportunities for their development when compared to men.

Many years back, societies have tried to make progress while giving no rights to women. The investments done to a woman can be regarded as a smart thing rather than the right thing. For a society to grow socially, economically and politically, state of women should be remodeled.
