I had even memorized some of the actor’s tactics to kill or event evades zombie attack. However, whatever I wished to experience more from the fictional movies I had gathered all along my life would become true into my real life. It all began when a nearby animal research institution experienced technical difficulties leading to the release of toxic gas within the institution. This happened about one months before, I received my letter to join the university. The employees were not aware of the effect of the gases until the population drastically reduced over the course of time. Moreover, this tactic allowed us to gather adequate information about the existing problem on the zombie apocalypse During this period of a zombie apocalypse, most people became irrational, therefore, they jumped into conclusion without evaluating the consequences of their actions.

During the zombie situation, most individuals would choose to kill one another thinking that the possibility of survival in such a situation is minimal. We never gave up on one another during this situation. Moreover, becoming irrational as everybody encountering the zombie apocalypse situation would turn into chaos. This lowers that probability of survival. Therefore, having a weapon in possession can increase the probability of survival on a one on one encounter with a zombie. However, we were running out of guns. This focused us to use the lawn mower than had been lying wasted in the store. The kitchen knives had been fitted with long sticks. Other weapons applied included the use of machetes as alternatives to guns. A zombie apocalypse provides an incentive for people to seek survival mechanism.

For us, we gathered enough foodstuffs to suit our every requirement for survival and cover up for the unknown time in which the crisis might last up to. Our search for survival extended to seeking medical equipment. We accessed these things by rushing to the supermarket or even retail stores to access preserved food that would not go into waste after a long period of time and the chemist to access medical equipment. Also, we accessed bottled water to be used along their way and period of survival. When one car broke down, the other one was used as the alternative means of transport. Moreover, the vehicles were big enough to accommodate as many supplies and many people as possible. Zombie is just dead creatures walking around with the aim of spreading viral infection or even killing another human being.

We encountered this challenge when one of the zombies was a close family relative. Therefore, No matter the personal relationship, whether a friend, family or even a spouse and is already transformed into a zombie and we had to kill him immediately. Therefore, being mentally prepared allows individuals to face the unimaginable and come out of this occurrence victorious. In conclusion, this essay has critically analyzed the strategies in which my family and I applied and were be able to survive from a zombie apocalypse. This included us being able to assess the existing situation in the environment. We also were critical thinkers and not becoming rational thinkers.
