The different locations that the company operates are Asia Pacific, Japan, Great China, Europe, and America. Initially, Apple Company was known as Apple Company was known as “Apple Computer Inc. ” the Company manufactured different types of computers such as computer peripherals, personal computers, and other software ("${Instrument_CompanyName} ${Instrument_Ric} Company Profile | Reuters. com", 2018). The company emerged successful by selling the personal computer. Apple had planned to regain leadership after by implementing other forms of computers which were easier to use. Therefore, the company created the “Graphical User Interface” GUI, and “Xerox Corporation’s Palo Alto Research Center” PARC which featured on-screen windows, the use of pictures, and icons and a mouse pointing device. The company integrated the new innovations into new computers, Macintosh and Lisa that was implemented in 1983.

Steve Job took charge of the entire project and insisted that the computers produced had to be “great. ” To their disappointment, the Macintosh was sold below the company’s expectations ("Apple Inc. However, the company solved the previous limitation by releasing the iPhone 3G in 2008 that included a support for GPS “Global Positioning System. ” Similar to the Blackberry manufactured by the Canadian Company, the new iPhone had features that meet consumers’ demand. For example, the units’ storage memory could be “wiped” after it was lost. Currently, the company delivers and sells applications and mobile digital devices over Apple Music, iBook collection, television/Mac/App stock, and iTunes Store. i. Multi-touch: The Company’s take on multi-touch resulted in the acquisition of FingerWorks, a Delaware company. Multi-touch was not a feature established by Apple, however, the corporation implemented the knowledge on its iPhone, which made it more accessible to the masses. ii. Mouse: The computer mouse embodies yet alternative technical invention that, while not created by Apple, was propagated by an Apple artifact. The company managed to implement the TouchID after acquiring a mobile security industry authentic in 2012. The intuitive application of the biometric equipment brought Apple into the conventional. v. Graphical User Interface: GUI was introduced in the 1970s during the Alto Research Center of Xerox Palo. Apple Company introduced GUI technology in 1983 after implementing the Lisa computer. 3D Touch: #D Touch is among the exciting and interesting improvements in the production of iPhones.

It is currently a new technology and it is perceived to change the way consumers use their devices. Most of the IOS apps use the 3D Touch to portray the great potential which the device has. The Current Changes in Business Dynamics at Apple Company Apple is a company that always seems to generate more history. Over the years, Apple has been a high profile company that generates more revenue. It is computed by dividing the earnings per share (EPS) of the firm over the next two years by the existing EPS ("Is Apple all grown up? The lifecycle of a growth company", 2018). As a result, the Medium-term growth focus of Apple Company decreased substantially compared to the United States large-cap Russell 1000 Index of the media stocks.

However, the SPSG “Sales per Share Growth” increased than that of the median. Regarding the equation’s value side, the book-to-price ratio was high in 2016 but lower than that of the median as shown in the figure below. The three factors determined using the Russell Style methodology indicate that Apple Company is more of a growth than a value stock. For instance, analysts expect the company to increase the sale of their smartphone by 3% in the current year that it did in 2017. Moreover, analysts forecast a 1% increase in sales in 2019 (Ovide, 2018). The growth is much slower and therefore not great for Apple Business. However, the company has increased the prices of new products, which will lead to growth in revenue in the 2018 fiscal year.

According to analysts, the company’s sell of iPhone is expected to decrease or grow slowly for four conservative years as shown in the figure below. The death of Steve Jobs created concerns about the future of the company, which required someone with impressive track records. However, Tim Cook was named as the company’s CEO few months before the death of Steve Jobs. The company raised concerns about the sustainability of its corporate culture which had been linked to the former CEO. i. The Organizational Culture of Apple Company During Steve Jobs Era The late Steve Jobs is regarded as a conventional leader who had the capacity to rally numerous stakeholders of the firm for his vision. ii. Organizational and leadership Culture Leadership is defined as the creation of a vision that other people would want to be part of.

Also, it is the creation of a positive environment where great achievements happen, and developing individuals to reach their full potential. The personality and leadership of a leader influence greatly the formation of an organizational culture in ways such as the behavior and actions of a leader are emulated by workers in the subordinate and lower management ranks (Dudovskiy, 2012). As a result, organizational leaders should set the culture in their organization through adopting an excellent behavior, effective work ethics, and communication skills. For example, the leader should have the efficient business acumen, be competent, and have increased creativity. People have raised concerns about the power culture at the Apple Company that will have adverse effects on the future growth prospects of the company.

The realistic Leadership Strategy For Apple Company The particular leadership strategies adopted by the CEO should be unique to that person. The leadership is basically learned from of developed by successful leaders from as every person views business with a different set of experiences, weaknesses, and strengths (Towers, 2017). The following are various leadership strategies and styles that the Apple Company should relate to. People say that the Apple Company’s CEO, Tim Cook is an achievement-oriented leader as he mainly focuses on shareholder returns and the ability of workers to generate business performance instead of the visionary approach used by Steve Jobs. iii. Participative Leaders Participative leaders work hard by soliciting workers ideas. They embrace the engagement of employees in the decision-making process and ensure that employees consider their views.

The type of leadership is democratic in nature as the CEO of the Company seeks to elevate the status of workers (Towers, 2017). Directive leaders avoid empowering and collaborating with others. The leadership style is related to managers overseeing workers who perform repetitive tasks that do not need specialization (Towers, 2017). Over the years, people have had the perception that great leaders are not made but born. In contrast, excellent leaders should be aware of their personality and that of the followers. They should have the capability to identify the ideal leadership strategy for various situations. Tim Cook needs thinkers who can offer a different insight into the business. The company requires to divert of style, thinking, and individuals to be themselves (Towers, 2017).

Bringing the best from people is a skill that business leaders should have and work to refine the skills gives them the confidence to follow the leader. Tim Cook has mainly focused on increasing the company’s profitability and leveraging the iPhone product line. As the cash reserves for the product have increased, experts have identified that Apple Company cannot depend on the product in years to come. iii. O “Opportunities”: the company has significant opportunities that it can exploit. Opportunities affect the strategic direction of the company. For Apple Company, they include the creation of new product lines, increasing demand for smartphones and tablets, and the expansion of the distribution network. iv. Therefore, Tim Cook should implement a proactive tactic regarding embracing the task culture in the firm by communicating appropriate values to different organizational stakeholders in an effective way.

Furthermore, Tim Cook should assume a role of change in shifting from the power to change the culture. During Steve Jobs’ leadership, innovativeness and creativity served as the primary business strategy of the Company. Therefore, the important components should be preserved in the future.
