Alan Marlatt’s second edition of “Assessment of Addictive Behaviors”. The paper analyses and summarizes major empirical findings that are relevant to RP model. Major advancements in RP include the inception of reformulated model that uses cognitive behavior to model relapse, usage of statistical techniques to imitate relapse in trials that are random, and creation of mindfulness-focused relapse prevention.
