today’s environment is highly volatile ambiguous and uncertain and therefore it requires great networking and collaboration among all levels of leaderships in the organization. So for an effective leader there is need to project about the future of the business by bringing all sources within the organization together which will help in increasing the organization income. embracing decision leadership will also require that embracing change through improving the organizational status to higher levels (Ireland & Hitt ,1999). How does effective decision-making help the organization to maintain a competitive edge in today’s highly competitive global marketplace? Creating and maintaining systems that will enable the organizations decision making process effective is critical in giving any organization or business a competitive edge. Effective decision making is known for presenting the organization with a sustainable customer environment and a steady market position.

In the above evaluation we went for vendor 1. The challenges that occur in this decision include forgoing some other best options as per the listed priorities offered by other vendors. Therefore one has to let go those better single options and take up a compact general advantage for the whole purchase (Lippitt, G. in this case therefore ending up with the best alternative and making the best decision will make the organizations operations successful and build up a stable working environment as well as a growing market of customers (Birkinshaw & Gibson, 2004). Having emotional intelligence enables most leaders to build up stable working environments for their workers to speak up their minds and give out opinions without fear. Implementing a collaborative working environment in an organization is not just a goal but it needs to be integrated into the organization having an emotional leader in an organization can help leverage the emotion for the better decision needed by the organization. When leaders have the ability to act upon changes they can be aware of how the workers can react and make earlier plans. Emotional intelligent leaders are likely to provide success to organization as the put behind their emotions and make the best decisions How could increasing your emotional intelligence levels help you to increase your decision-making effectiveness? It has come to your attention that some strategic partners have engaged in practices that are considered unethical. Although such practices may not be considered unlawful, they raise questions regarding integrity and high ethical standards as related to financial activity, safety standards, and treatment of employees. How would you address the current issues with partnering companies who are engaged in questionable practices? Importantly, how do you protect your organization’s public image when such practices have been called into question? Be very specific and thoroughly explain based on the ethical concepts gained in the course. In your estimation, is the leadership in your organization effective? If so, in what ways? Servant leadership allows everyone to input his opinion and suggestion in a way that it is articulated within the organization. There is more of power sharing and the needs of the organization are prioritizing while encouraging the making decisions collectively. This model is known to boost morale and improve the cultural diversity. Though critics say that the model compromise on the business goal as it prioritize the employees but I think that when the internal customer is happy the external customer is happy. A.
