Factors Affecting Human Development at Various Age Groups
Document Type:Research Paper
Subject Area:Psychology
Human development is a continuous process that goes in an orderly sequence since a child is born to maturity thus a sequence change in different age groups (Dewey & Humber, 1951). In every group every member is expected to master some skills and acquire some patterns of behavior and this is considered an achievement. The study defines the level of achievements of different age groups in the economy in ensuring the well-being of everyone and support sustainable development. Human development is therefore focused on ensuring that the lives people are living are improved rather than assuming that growth economically leads to the wellbeing of the people. Further, human development entails giving people freedom as they grow and learn about the world, they gain freedom to explore and learn about the world. They therefore tend to communicate to their care takers or try to achieve attention of the care givers by crying.
At a young age children are not able to communicate well though language, at this young age the children have not formed proper communicating language and therefore they cannot be able to communicate through language. They therefore communicate largely through crying (Fitzgerald). For example, when a child has messed itself and they are feeling uneasy they will tend to cry so as to communicate to their care giver that something is wrong and they need to be taken care of to feel comfortable. When the child is also feeling unwell, they may also tend to communicate through crying, another major thing that may cause the children to cry is when they are feeling hungry and they need attention from the care givers. This is because we learn a lot from the environment we live in, further it is notable that the environment that we live in dictates or influences that kind of food that we take.
Research indicates that nutrition is directly related to the human development. For example, to grow health wise requires supplying the body with a balanced diet hence facilitating normal growth despite the fact that the need for the calories or intake of calories differs across all age groups (OpenStax CNX, 2017). Further by observing the life of the people living in developed regions and those living in poverty stricken regions the difference largely comes to play. It was observed that people living in largely developed regions tend to afford and eat as per the dietary requirements, however people living in poverty stricken regions tend to eat whatever they find, in that they do not choose what needs to be eaten but eats what they can afford at that particular time (OpenStax CNX, 2017). For example, it is more likely for a children born of white parents to be white where her color, height, structure if the face and the body size is governed by the race.
Conclusion In conclusion, the human development was observed to be influenced by various where the research noted that our environment largely influences our growth ability. Further it is observed through children that the ability to communicate our feeling and wants also influences human development. In this research it is notable that we learn a lot from the environment we live in, further it is notable that the environment that we live in dictates or influences that kind of food that we take. For example, it was observed that people living in largely developed regions tend to afford and eat as per the dietary requirements, however people living in poverty stricken regions tend to eat whatever they find, this therefore largely influences human development. youtube. com/watch?v=y8qc8Aa3weE Magnuson, K.
