The solutions are often born out of consensus by the group members upon evaluation of the impact and consequences of their action in solving the problem at hand. Group Problem Solving Personal Reflection The activity of group problem solving is an impressive methodology which inspires substantive input in arriving at quality solutions based on the opportunity to allow different perspectives to the challenge. I have been involved in group decision making processes before and admit that the discussion though heated at times were helpful towards offering the chance to brainstorm further on the problem. Nonetheless, the process is tiresome and time-consuming especially due to the need to convince opposing viewpoints into consensus upon evaluation of the impact of the decision. The process established substantive insight on the essence of accommodating several perspectives to the issue under review to provide a broader view of finding out the best solution pathway to the problem.

The choice of principles of negotiation was informed by the desire to understand how to improve the ability to advance a targeted expectation out of any deal. I have not been good at negotiations in the recent past but I am taking on an exceptional commitment to undertaking numerous steps that will enhance my ability to enhance my skills set. I take significant exception to the need of taking on different steps that will enable me to learn how best to cut deals through affirming my interests and being able to convince the negotiating party into consensus. The lessons learned about the significance of equipping my abilities with essential principles of negotiation are the need of building relationships and listening during the discussions.

I have understood the need to often develop a rapport with the other party to effectively convince them of the benefits expected upon agreement on a deal. Financial ratios have positively improved my analytical capability to evaluate the fundamental review of organizations before a decision on which counters in the capital markets to invest. The ratios offer a simple and brief assessment of the capacity of an organization to grow based on how their financial data is elaborately reflected through calculated values for comparison. I have learned how better to distinguish between profitability and activity ratios based on the measure they undertake on business financial performance. The ability to interpret the decision criterion among the different ratios is equally a benefit that I have attained over time through understanding how to calculate the comparisons of financial data.

Analysing and Evaluating Arguments Summary Critical readings call for the skill of the scheme through different scenarios that require an individual to better understand the significance of evaluating an argument to determine its persuasiveness value. I have learned the art of objectively critiquing an argument by offering rebuttals that are backed with cogent reasons against the claim seeking to persuade my decisions on their line of thought. Nonetheless, I have realized the need to undertake additional practice on how better to perform personal research on the topic under debate for purposes of having my decisions being based on facts at hand that challenge the claims of an underlying argument. It is imperative to underscore the benefits of analysing and evaluating arguments especially on the input they deliver towards enhancing how I decide when divergent options are presented for my judgment.
