The use of digital campaigning platforms continues to be the most common and preferable means of marketing products since this method has proven to be more efficient as opposed to traditional methods that involved making physical visits to the shops (Roberts, 2012). Some of the most common marketing techniques such as the use of search engine marketing (SEM), , search engine optimization (SEO), influencer marketing, campaign marketing, content marketing e-commerce marketing, social media optimization, social media marketing, optical disks and email direct marketing have enabled business owners to efficiently reach their various target consumers just by a click of a button. This s particularly important as it increased the coverage of the audience reached by product information regardless of the distance between the seller and the consumers (Jones, 2009). Although it is evident that companies make use of internet platforms as a means of marketing goods through advertisements, it is significant to take note of the fact that it may use such platforms as a potential means of researching so as it may be able to communicate a specific message. Business owners may also go a point further towards ensuring that they can identify a given target market as a means likely to allow them to understand the needs and wants of the target audience. Online marketing allows business owners to go a point further towards ensuring that their businesses are known to a wider audience regardless of its size and location. This method of advertising has been made efficient as more and more people are now able to access the internet from the comfort of their mobile phones.

This way of advertising may be termed as being more efficient as opposed to the use of traditional marketing methods. This paper attempts to analyze how internet marketing has allowed various stakeholders such as the private, public and charity sector to market their different products online (Roberts, 2012). The company is commonly known for its extensive online sales making it be ranked as one of the world’s largest online grocers.
