This includes taking inventory of the core leadership competencies, feelings, and philosophies. Notably, leadership analysis takes into account the overall personality as well as the context of the society, culture, and time using psychological tools to enhance leadership. The purpose of the essay is to analyze the leadership strengths and develop a statement of who I am as a leader. Further, the paper will explain how coaching can be utilized to maximize leadership strengths and achieve professional goals. Leadership Strengths Participation As a leader, I always aspire to encourage participation from all people and make sure that all workers feel valued and engaged in the decision-making process. This initiates conversations that are associated with the improvement of the internal business processes.
As a young leader, I always make open communication as part of the organization culture. I utilize this strength to develop an effective and efficient approach to collaboration. As a leader, I respect and honor open communication and use it an avenue of sharing insights, ideas, and concerns about core issues within the organization (Atwater & Waldman, 2008). Building Relationships Relationships are the basis through which individuals can understand the people they are leading. I am always focused to ensure that I maintain positive relationships with all team members. This allows me to maintain open communication channels between members and other key stakeholders within the organization. Also, whenever there is a crisis or issues that affect all workers, I call for meeting will all team members and ensure that the solution is suitable for each individual.
This includes rallying for support and developing a collaborative organizational culture. Moreover, I always respect and honor the feedback and opinions of other people within the company. There are also core concepts that enhance professional development such as self-belief, self-awareness, self-management, and personal integrity (Williamson, 2009). In this regard, the coaching was useful because I helped me to my strengths, particularly learning and open-mindedness to broaden my professional knowledge. as a person, coaching assist me to be self-aware and ensure that I am self-confident when dealing with issues in the workplace. As a leader, I value communication, participation, and building relationships. Therefore, through coaching, I am able to harness these strengths and remain self-aware as I guide and influence others.
