It gives insight on residential and asylum seekers, displaced people and refugees since the year 2001. Currently, the museum is offering immigrants stories. In the field research, I was able to learn the role immigration has played in influencing Australian population, political and economic growth. Based on my context, many immigrants were attracted to Australia due to the availability of vast lands, mining and economic activities and labor scarcity.

These resources motivated settlers as they believed that they would make new lives in Australia. I also learned that Australia is among the most diverse and multicultural nations of the world. My assertions where that they were three sets in identifying the selection basis for permanent immigrants which include refugee and humanitarian admission, technical and professional expertise as well as family migration for relatives. The museum portrays the history in numerous types from locally produced exhibitions to a series of imported features which provide a new way to find the intriguing insights of migration and also the victoria’s immigration symbol (Clark 1955). The museum creates exhibitions which reveal and shares histories on cultural diversities in the form of a gallery. The background of the institution establishes a preview of what history it represents its important contribution towards the realization and reservation of migration history.
