The proposal will, therefore, aim at highlighting the actual state of the society as far as immigration, and thus prejudice is concerned.

Background Looking at the history of the United States of America, the issue of immigration used to be and still is a major problem that the country has been working on. Almost every government that has come and go has had to formulate policies concerning immigration. Consequently, the different people who manage to move into the country come in with their own ways of living of living, interacting and communicating. The different forms or levels of living bring into light the issue of an imperfect society that lacks a consistent way of working out its daily issues. This leads to instances of poor communication brought about by factors such as language barriers and differentiated use of gestures. Purpose of the Study The better part of this study will be focusing on analyzing the various factors of prejudice, which can be understood to be the major contributing forces.

Having understood the concept of prejudice, this study will enable the various interested individuals to establish an effective framework in curtailing this vice. LITERATURE REVIEW In most cases, the arrival of immigrants with huge cultural disparities, into the rural regions of the United States, was encouraged by factors such as job opportunities and tax incentives. This resulted in the emergence of pro-immigrant organizations such as coalitions and non-profit agencies. However, this was not the case in every part where immigrants arrived. Due to other matters such as social civilization, the various cultural groups living in the US began generating different perceptions towards each on the basis of race, gender, sex, class among others, the fight between immigrants and natives shifted from been resource-base to the aforementioned cases.

The various forms of prejudice that have been witnessed in the US on various occasions are as it will be discussed. METHODOLOGY In this study, the basis of conducting the research will be by way of literature review. The research will seek to find out how immigration has warranted the emergence and continuation of prejudice in the society. This will enable the research work to be more efficient in making a structured kind of approach in as a crucial step in establishing the real state of the society as far as the topic of discussion is concerned. For instance, back in 2016, there were outcries in the public when several young black Americans were allegedly shot dead by white police officers under different circumstances.

Racial prejudice does not arise at this point. But what happens after all these atrocities have been committed is what anyone would understand that racial prejudice might have just been a contributing factor towards the incidents. After these events took place, there were emergence of abnormally intense commentaries, suggestions and debates which were indirectly revealing racial tensions in some areas in the US. Instead of focusing on solving the matter at hand, most media analysis were centered on rising tension between two or more groups in some states or village in the country. In some other extreme cases, biases relating to weight can be witnessed among family members and even in health facilities, done by top health professions. Despite the many studies which have been done on this topic, there has been little information present with respect to the same.

The little attention has been given to this issues explains why cases relating to the same are still being witnessing in most parts of our society today. All these occurrences overwhelmingly contribute to the subject of prejudice. It involves the unsupported perceptions that the society creates concerning a given section of people in the society, and this case those perceived to be overweight. Also, out of every twenty men, there is one who claimed to have been paid less income as compared to her female colleagues despite them being peers. The reason for this states of affairs is because the specific gender being affected in the specific incident are being perceived as people who are less competent. This is despite them having attained the same level of professionalism as their counterparts of the opposite gender.
