Happiness is a transitory condition that reveals one's satisfaction of a current moment. Happiness is founded on the individual central state of mind, which is generated after fulfillment and attainment of anticipated life target. Happiness in life is categorized into two groups, short-term happiness, and long-term happiness. Short-lived happiness is the outcome of short-term satisfaction, social collaborations, desire, events, rewards, and any number of involvements in our lives that grant us an albeit, immediate, and fleeting boost in dopamine. On the other hand, long-term happiness is the outcome of individual fulfillment. The achievement of all this leads to the fulfillment of the anticipated goal of investment in this setting. Therefore, it can be concluded that real happiness is attained through the fulfillment of set targets in life.

Happiness is perceived to be the chief source of peace of mind, which enables people to fulfill their set objectives. Individuals who are at peace always sustain life at equilibrium, no matter the challenges they meet while pursuing daily activities. In addition to this, peace of mind makes people feel comfortable every time they are striving towards certain objectives. “The process of finding fulfillment means one will encounter not only the experience of happiness but also the rich experience of all subsequent emotions mutually bad or good (Choi & Incheol, 87)”. In this case, an instance of happiness can be short-lived, however, experiencing an extensive accommodation of emotions adds to individual’s character and assists to fashion their standards, which in return points to fulfillment.

The aspect of staying a life of fulfillment means having a life factual to one’s values. However, some people don’t understand their purpose and values in life, which hinders fulfillment in life. In this scenario, the existence of happiness creates a unique state of mind, which enables one to understand purposes and values in life. Both happiness and fulfillment are states of personal achievement objectives in life but not the delight of infinite longings for outward things. Additionally, both genuine fulfillment and happiness are influenced by context, but it’s not reliable on it. However, focus to become happy and fulfill life dreams renders individuals power to encounter those barrier contexts in life. Fulfillment of desires and happiness are always connected with a maximization of preference, whereby both entails an interrupted sequence of pleasurable life experiences.

Both fulfillment and happiness encompass some features such as set-point. “Fulfillment is knowing that you have to give your service to something in life greater than yourself because you love and enjoy working with the people around you (Bhattacharjee, & Cassie, 30)”. Happiness on the other side emerges from the honesty and susceptibility that leads to generating reminiscences and moments in durations with friends and family members. In this scenario, it is realized that both fulfillment and happiness is impacted by people around you. The two comes through when one is having a mindful of the current moment, and he or she is associating with the surrounding individuals. Fulfillment and happiness sometimes come naturally due to the availability of essential elements in life like having an excellent job or a good family.
