Despite the use of the classical queen’s language – also attributed to Shakespeare himself as the Shakespearean English, the texts have not lost their meaning. In fact, despite the various translations and adaptations of the modern English versions (and perhaps other languages), the thematic structures of the work have continued to stand. In addition, it should not be lost that the most of his works addressed real time societal issues. For instance, in the Merchant of Venice, the theme of avarice, romance, and racism are prevalent; so are the themes of dejection and destitution. Literary analysts have appraised Shakespeare for trying to address social issues while others have reviled him on allegations of anti-Semitism undertones the Merchant of Venice. I know I have been unfair to many, but this aint the reward I’ve been expecting.

In fact, the language has often been labeled as archaic. This is not only a pejoration, but also an indication of how the language is often dismissed in contemporary writing. Although many people study his literature, it is the way they reinvent it in their immediate context that matters. In fact, it is the way a modern author or playwright navigate the subject that matters.

In other words, it matters a lot; what becomes the objective of writer looking up on Shakespeare. For instance, some may choose to just interpret the texts without changing the complex settings and styles (Blade 13). Consequently, they will join hand with their audience to meander through the Shakespearean lingual labyrinth. In fact, it is a purpose driven strategy that has been characteristic of most Shakespearean reinvention attempts. Literature is an artistic discipline that is very practical once understood. When reinventing Shakespearean works, it is often imperative to endeavor to develop a high degree of skill in reading and writing (Hills and Well 468). Therefore, when writing the play in the first part, I had appreciated that literature is more than the proficiency of the English language.

That is the reason why the text incorporates features such as code switching and code meshing which are meant to appreciate the level of language used by the characters. Instead, it takes a literary genius to develop such characters. An understanding of such complexities within the Shakespearean works is therefore beneficial in numerous ways. Upon learning how Shakespeare integrates literary devices, for instance, I with time managed to come up with such complexities as evidenced in the excerpt. An astute Shakespeare student will undoubtedly to write plays and dramas that will exude a high complexity in the use of motif, imagery, and character development (Burt 135). That is how my sample play can manage to navigate its audience through the plots with aspects of humor, sarcasm, and other literary devices that address the pertinent issues within a society.
