The sector is very essential in sustaining and maintaining the competitiveness and productivity of the country’s economy and thus there is a dire need to have a good network as well as infrastructure of the road haulage system which works for the citizens. The availability of the basic commodities and commonly used goods depends on the availability of road haulage systems. It is important to note that without the trucks, people would have a challenge of accessing food stores, water storage facilities, schools as well as places of work. The cost of operation may surpass the cost incurred to locally distribute the goods and products. In case there a substitution, it will pose a threat to the business and lead to losses.
