She argues the complications of feminism in the sporting world. Nelson continues to argue that women in every field of work limit their full potential with the idea to seem "non-threatening" and soft (Nelson 545). Women have ever since taken the back seat in not only the US but also in literary every society. From her book, she also talks about her great female skier. Ironically, the great skier also loves men's approval "I love male approval. True to her argument, despite being raised differently, women have accepted the treat. Despite her having the opportunity first off to take part in the athletics competition, she believes that the female gender needs more. She is among the few women that have the chance to take part in sports and other great careers. For this, the female gender needs more of these opportunities.
