Google’s domain was registered on September 15 the year 1997. Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. which is the holding company (Sutherland, 2012). The company has proven to be the top priority of internet users as it handles almost 70 per cent of worldwide online search requests. Google’s headquarters is based in Mountain View California. This is all due to the exceptional techniques, strategies and methods at recruiting their staff even the retention of their best workers. During interviews, Google conducts them in a span of between 45 mins and one hour with a rotation of 4 to 5 interviewers. This time is used to give the interviewees the chance to solve problems that are similar to their job description. With such an exposing interview, the employer gets to thoroughly assess the know-how of their potential employees and evaluate their skills keenly enabling them to choose the best candidates for specific positions (Sutherland, 2012).

Google has employed a retention program that is used to maintain their best employees which helps in pushing all the workers to give their best. It has registered over 50 services including Google search, google docs, google maps and even AdSense just to mention a few. Most of the products are developed in-house but Google has also expanded its territories through acquisitions such as YouTube which is a perfect example. The company is valued due to its ability to offer their services to web users for little and close to zero cost to the web users which makes it be a top priority to consumers (Sutherland, 2012). Also due to the online traffic that Google receives on a daily basis, it has managed to do marketing in an attractive model, enabling them to rake in billions of dollars yearly.

Google has a set of infrastructures that cannot be easily copied enabling them to offer a wide range of services and products comfortably. Google has also developed a training for the Android web and web developers. This skill equips the people with the ability to develop beautiful applications that are at the same responsive and flexible. The training has been created by the Google developers’ team entirely for the purpose of helping people develop high-quality apps that are both useful and marketable (Noe, 2013). There are several options such as an end to end training, online courses, tutorial courses for the purpose of self-study. At the end of it all, one can take the Google Developers Certification exam to regain recognition of your skills.

They have the tendency of serving Gourmet food and they have several cafes and even food trucks in the Mountain View offices. It clearly shows that the company is not afraid of spending money on food for their employees (Sutherland, 2012). Improving the Work Environment and Work Efficiency for Employers Clearly, Google has invested a lot in ensuring that their employees receive the best while working. Through showing that they care for their employees, this act encourages them in offering the best services they can to the employees.
