Additionally, the chapter explains that the students of color can or may be quite more sensitive compared to the whites counterparts specific dynamics of their experiences of college like those that relate to race or else discrimination. These aspects are because color students have worldviews as well as experiences which are likely to be entirely different right from students, peers, and staff in predominantly institutions of the whites (Winkle-Wagner & Locks, 2013). Due to structural racism’s historical legacy on college campuses, conflicts right between the color student’s backgrounds as well as the norms of some institutions may be invisible. The research of the climate of campus has, therefore, become a dangerous area for the institution of higher learning scholars as well as practitioners to give it a try to make these phenomena more visible.

When such phenomena is visible, addressing them is more straightforward. Maybe, one of the most moving reasons to, therefore, attend the graduate school is that degrees that have advanced are recently expected for an increment of the number of positions that utilized to only need the degree of bachelor. A graduate degree does offer a way for many to advance in their education system professionally. In addition to that, a degree that has advanced mostly does come along with a potential for getting more money. The authors, therefore, explore the access to professional and graduate programs as a way to right think about the more substantial diversity-and inclusion's picture. When everyone embraces this aspect, very few individuals would be let out, and therefore most of the people will be able to benefit from this system (Winkle-Wagner & Locks, 2013).
