Leadership allows for the effective running of the organization and also the most effective way that will allow for problem-solving, steering the organization forward and also developing the various managerial concerns that are needed for the overall benefit of the organization. There are different styles of leadership that are applicable to running various organizations in society today. In this case, leadership theories have been developed to help explain some key leadership styles that are chiefly applicable and the key implications and application of such leadership styles. Many leaders have developed different approaches aimed at providing smooth running of operations in their respective facilities. Every profession needs a clear and well-stipulated hierarchy of leadership that best suits its operational discourse. Leaders are the prime people who are concerned with developing the need for change, liaising with the nature employees on how to promote and arrive at a meaningful conclusion on managing the said change and also developing the framework that will help achieve the setup objective.
According to Greene (2009), inspiration is one of the major methods that can help in initiating the required change and also in developing the walk towards achieving all the setup objectives. This type of leadership is very inherent in developing change and also in establishing a more pioneered method that will catapult change and also initiate the transformational leadership into action. Stewart (2006) argues that the basis of the transformational leadership and its efficiency in realizing the change in the organizational structure is a role model. The leaders are the main people who can act as the role model through inspiring the employees into developing a vision that needs to be achieved and developing the required vision that is needed to catapult change and also initiating changes that will help in the relation of the needs of the organization and also be becoming susceptible to the needed change.
In this way, all employees will strive to produce the best and work to the full realization of the core values and goals of the institution. Situational Leadership Theory The situational leadership theory is the leadership theory that was developed by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard. The major development and the idea that is shared by the theory is that there is no effective or a better leadership style. The developers of their assets that there is no best leadership style but all the leadership styles that are applied are based on the situation. The leadership styles that are applicable today are based on the situation that a leader is at and hence develops which special type of leadership that one needs to apply. According to Kinicki & Kreitner (2003), systemic thinking leadership style can help create the most elaborate system of managing the organizational stress and other issues that may distress the organizational structure and workability.
Adult Learning Theories Adult learning theories is one of the key methods that can be used to develop a leadership style that will catapult and create the best way of managing the organizational overview. The adult learning theory was developed by Malcolm Shepherd Knowles. The audit learning can help create values and information on how the people in the society need to be managed and also how the best manage various occurrences and various needs of the people in the organization. It is a system that provides information on how to effectively manage the people's views and their identities in the quest to develop a system of management and also to ensure that a better understanding, self-concept ideas and the factors that make up the people’s minds and beliefs are fully put into operation.
Problem-solving is one of the key techniques and practices that can help promote the effectivity of organizational development with ease. Problem-solving techniques help in the promotion of the effectivity of the organization by applying the rich problem-solving skills to deal with any issue with ease.
